Alumni and Students by Legislative District

“So what does it mean to MY district?”

It’s a fair question that legislators ask when considering policy questions that come before them. In order to attempt to answer that question specifically, Metro State has matched students and alumni for whom they have mailing addresses with state legislative districts.

Nearly all of our 22,000-plus students* are Colorado residents, and 90 percent of our alumni remain in Colorado after graduating. Combining the two, more than 75,000 Colorado citizens with close ties to Metro State and its future are constituents of our representatives and senators statewide.
